The cold, icy weather continues. County Councils are running out of salt to spread on the roads and are ignoring secondary roads. Footpaths are lethal and in a worse state than the roads. Got a 1 tonne bags of plasters sand in the back yard for a job I am due to start and am using it to grit footpath in front of the terrace I live in and to grit the side road around the back of the house.
I hope this cold spell finishes before I run out of sand :)
