Over Winter Crop Update

My over wintered garlic and onions are looking good and seemed to be surviving the winter will no ill effects. The sets were planted back in October and in the last few weeks there has been a burst of growth from the garlic. The sets seem to be about 2 months ahead of last year's crop so I am expecting to have a much earlier harvest this year.

My over winter chillies are also doing well with lots of fresh growth. This year I am aiming to grow a lot more chillies and have started to sow some of this years crop last weekend. They are still in my hot press but no signs of germination yet.
