Sowing Seeds Outdoor Under Cloche

I have started planting some seeds outdoor under my cloche.
  • Chinese cabbage. Easy to germinate and grows quickly. They take up a surprising large amount of space when fully grown. Once large enough to be transplanted I will move to another bed and plant about 50cm apart.
  • Endives. Easy to grow, grows densely so do not require much space. Harvest as a cut-and-come-again crop. Taste better than lettuce.
  • Lettuce. Finished of a pack of Winter Gem lettuce.
  • Bush Beans Friverde. I suspect that the ground might still be to cold for these to germinate, even under the cloche. If that is the case I will plant another crop in pots indoors in a week or so.
