Today was the first day outside in the garden this year and I got a start on a few cleanup jobs. I emptied out one of my compost bins and spread the compost on my raised beds. Also set up my
homemade cloche on a new raised bed. I rotate the cloche to a new bed each year as part of my crop rotation. This simple cloche works well at raising the temperature on the raised beds and usually gives me a month head start over my neighbours on my vegetable harvest. Sowed some more seeds
- Sowed leeks, 'Hannibal', outdoors.
- Sowed spring onions, 'White Lisbon', outdoors.
- Sowed some peas in a jar.
