I got through a satisfactory amount of work indoors and outdoors over the long weekend. Had a major clean up of the raised beds and the front garden. I got around to transplanting my tomotoes into a sunny end of a raised bed. Peas have also been transplanted and a new crop sown in jars.
With the weather starting to warm I have started to sow some of the more temperature sensitive seeds. I sowed a tray of sweetcorn 'Lark' F1, Chinese cabbage, and Bush Beans Friverde. In a raised bed I direct sowed more Cherry Belle radish, Diakon, and rocket.
This weekend I also harvested the first crop of this season. I had a nice handful of crisp cherry radishes.
I also go a number of indoor DIY jobs done over the long weekend but will write about these in a later post.
