Sweetcorn Harvest 2012

This year's sweetcorn harvest has not been as good as last year's. I am not sure if it is because of the wet summer or the new variety I grew this year. Each plant only managed to product a single cob. Either way I got about a dozen cobs which lasted for a few meals.

Within 10 minutes of picking some of the cobs were boiling on the hob ready for eating. They were tender and sweet if a little on the small size but made for a tasty meal.
