A really easy way to propagate peas is in a jam jar. Place some paper kitchen towel inside a glass jar. Pour in some water so the paper soaks up the water and sticks to the side of the jar. Drop in your pea seed between the glass and towel. Do not allow the peas to fall to the bottom of the jar as they will sit in the water and rot.
After a few day the pea will germinate and within a few week you have some large pea plants.

cool, I'll have to try this this year. I'm planning on adding peas and chilies to the tomatoes and courgette you encouraged me to grow last year.
