I start to chit my first early seed potatoes at the beginning of Fedruary and now they have a nice number of sturdy shoots. I planted a number of the seed potatoes on St Patrick's Day and a few more at the weekend.
A 5Kg bag of seed potatoes contained about 50 potatoes. I planted about 30 and donated the rest of the my neighbours.
