It is time to transplant the peas that have been propagating in jam jars for the last few weeks. They have grown about 10cm in the last 3 weeks. I planted them out into a raised bed and covered them with a plastic cloche so that they can acclimatise.
I washed the jars and immediately set about sprouting another batch of pea seeds. With about 4 or 5 peas per jar and about 3 weeks before they are ready for planting out I m hoping this wil give me sufficient spacing between cropping.
