New Lawn Preparation - Part 2

This post follows on from part 1 of the lawn preparation post last month. I have run a 1.2m wide path down the shaded side of the garden. The path runs the ful length of the garden from the back of the house to the garage. The path is made from Roadstone Castlestone paving stones. These are a concrete manufactured paving stone and cost about €26 per m^2.

On the opposite side of the garden I have added another raised bed about 9m long and 1m wide. It is made from recycled decking timbers. Along the side of the raised bed and across the end of the garden I have continued to run the paved path about 500mm wide. The paving bounds the area I plan  plant with grass.

The lawn area has been dug over twice during the winter months, with several barrows of stones and a bag of dandelion roots removed.
