Raised Propagation Bed

Using some left over decking timber and plywood I put together a simple raised propatgation bed this afternoon. The deck timbers were cut to length, mitred in the corners, and scrwed together. The base is made from an old sheet of WBP plywood cut to size and screwed to the sides. I lined the inside with a sheet of plastic.

The bed holds the 100 sunflowers we transpalanted last weekend and courgette that I moved outdoors to start hardening off before planting to their final position.

The plastic cloche cover exactly fits the bed and is held in place with some cable clips. The clips can rotate to allow easy removal of the cloche cover
