I have some well established fruit brushes in the garden that I plant about 4 or 5 years ago. Only have one bush of each which is fine for the redcurrant and gooseberry bushes. However I could do with a few more blueberry bushes as they will bear more fruit when several are planted together, allowing for cross-pollination.
I consistently get a bumper crop from the redcurrant brush. Most usually go to a neighbour in returns for some pots of redcurrant jam. Still look like a month or two away from harvesting.
The gooseberry bush looks closest to harvesting. The fruit are getting plump and I hope to be able to harvest them at the end of the month.
