Early last month I sowed radish between my broccoli and these are now ready to harvest just as the broccoli has reach a size to start to fill in the space between the plants. Unfortunately the pak choi has not germinated. It was seed I had left over from last year and I guess the seed is too old.
My first crop of chinese cabbage is nearing an end. I have started to infill the space left with my sweetcorn which has been hardening off for the last few weeks. Since sweetcorn needs about 45cm between plants and are slow growing, I will intercrop some faster growing vegetabe between the plants. Currently I have lettuce and radish sown in the free space between the sweetcorn plants
