Chillies

My garden centre bought chillies have been a complete disaster this year. Six seeds in the pack and only 2 germinated. Of these 2 one withered after a few weeks the the remaining chilli is one of the smallest sickly plants I have seen.

So a few weeks ago I planted the seeds from some shop bought chillies that we were using for dinner one night. To my surprise most of the seeds germinated and have been thriving (see above picture). I will be potting them on soon and might even sow a few more of these shop bought seeds. I have no idea what type of chilli they are but I am looking forward to them maturing and fruiting.
