Tomato Trusses

I am expecting a bumper crop of tomatoes this year. I have about a dozen plants each with 3 or 4 trusses set. The fruit are still small and green but are growing at the phenomenal rate. In previous years I have always grown my tomatoes in growbags but this year I have grown them directly in the raised bed and my plants seem noticeably larger. When transplanting these plants I dug in a generous amount of compost from my compost bins. The plants are also less susceptible to drying out in the ground.
The plants still require regular maintenance. I have picked out the growing bud when 3 or 4 trussed have set. Continue to pickout the side shoots that grow between the stem and leaves, and remember to feed the plants at regular intervals.
