Onion Harvest 2012

I harvested this year's onion crop this afternoon and got two large baskets of onions. Not a bad return for the €6 cost of the onion sets. The sets were planted back in Autumn and over-wintered.

The onions were planted in the same raised bed as this year's garlic crop but they were not affected by the garlic rust infection so I will definitely consider growing these varieties again later this year.
