The first pack of leek seeds I sowed back in April failed to germinate so I took a chance and sowed a second pack at the beginning of June which is a bit late for leeks. I sowed half the pack in a tray and the rest in a raised bed. This weekend I started to dib in the leeks into the space freeing up from the early potatoes.
I also transplanted some young cabbage plants I sowed back in June and hope to be able to harvest in Autumn before the weather gets too cold and growth stops. This year's first cabbage crop is coming to an end and has given us a lot of good meals.
