Harvested our first crop of lettuce this weekend. These are small headed Winter Gem lettuce that I sowed in February. They are an over wintering variety but since I had a pack of seed laying around I decide to use them anyway. They obvious grow well in warmer weather and taste fresh and crisp.
I transplanted a second batch of these lettuce this weekend inercropped with my broccoli.
