My daughter has been keeping a pumpkin from last autumn so we decided to split it open at the weekend and try to grow the seeds inside. The inside was surprising fresh for a pumpkin that was harvested over 6 months ago. We extracted a large number of seeds and sowed a few in pots. Five days after planting I already have 4 seedling appear.
