Cabbage White Blister

I only started to notice white spots in my cabbage last weekend. When I looked around this evening this had spread to a lot of my neighbouring cabbage plants. I believe this is cabbage white blister. It seems to be only affecting my summer cabbage and not any of my other brassca plants (yet). I have Chinese cabbage and broccoli in neighbouring beds and hope it will not infect these plant.

From what I have read white blister is not a major problems. I should remove the infected leaves and not compost them. I fear I will only be left with the core of the cabbage head.
