Looking After Tomatoes

The tomatoes I transplants last month are coming along well and are about 0.5m tall with the first trusses starting to appear. They require looking after and regular maintenance.
- Nip out the side shoots that appear where the leaf stalks join the stem. You can see the side shoots in the picture on the left.
- I used some bamboos to add support for the cordons.
- Since the weather is dry, tomatoes need to be watered regularly. The first trusses have set so you should start to feed the plants with a good plant feed every two weeks.
