Snowmen Reproducing in the Garden

The bitter cold spell continues and there is no end in sight. While the adults are concerned about getting to work, heating the house, running low on food, the kids are running around outside seemly immune to the cold weather. This evening saw about a dozen kids in the back lane having a giant snowball fight while I was trying to dig out a path to get the car into the garage.

 

Last night after work I helped my daughter build the above splendid example of a snowman. Coming home this evening and I noticed that I now have two snowmen in my front garden. There are a number of snow boulders laying around so I suspect I will have a number of additional snowmen over the next few days.
