Long Weekend - DIY, Climbing and Snow

Cracker of a weekend. I took Thursday and Friday off work to get some some work done in the house. It has been nearly 2 months since I did any work on the downstair toilet conversion so I used the two days to plasterboard 3 walls, a ceiling, and install first fix electrics.

On Saturday took a break from work on the house and had a great day climbing at UCD climbing wall with my daughter. Spent 4 hours top-roping, trying to master some new routes, and falling of walls. I can highly recommend climbing if you are looking for an activity for kids. UCD run regular beginner courses for both children and adults. Once you complete the course and pass a belay test you are free use the wall anytime outside of club times.

Woke up early Sunday morning to a complete whiteout. It is the end of November and everywhere is covered with a few centimeters of snow. What is going on? It was not hard to get people out of bed, warm ski gear on and head to Kilternan Ski Club. Managed to get in 3 hours of good skiing before calling it a day. Looking at the weather forcast I hope to get another evening ski session in this week.
