A quick post on some of the outdoor jobs done over the weekend
- Transplanted the sunflowers into a raised bed. I am giving one of my raised beds to my daughter for this years sunflower crop. I will be a bit smaller than last year's enormous crop. One lesson learned this year is to plant your sunflower seeds into a reasonably large pot. A 70~100mm pot should provide plenty of room for the young plants as they grow very quickly and need space for the roots.
- Greenfly on my chilli seedlings sorted with Doff organic spray.
- Sweetcorn and beans that have been germinating indoors were moved outdoors to the propagator to harden off.
