The raised beds are full of plants and we are eating plenty of vegetables from the garden - cabbage, beans, Chinese cabbage, courgettes, and lettuce. A bit of colour is added to the garden with half a bed of sunflowers and Calendula flowers.
Squashes, pumpkins, and courgettes are growing at a faster rate than we can eat them.
Most of the pumpkins we will keep for Halloween.
I now have lots of husks on the sweetcorn. There are still on the small size and wont be ready to harvest for a few more weeks. The sweetcorn shares a raised bed with this year's tomato crop which has plenty of trusses, most of which only have green fruit. I hope there is still enough time left in the growing season for these crops to mature,
