The latest addition to the Irish climbing scene, Gravity Climbing Centre, officially opened today.
I went along and spent the afternoon at the centre with my daughter and was very impressed by the scale and range of the bouldering problems. I normally only lead climb and avoid bouldering since I can rarely manage more that a few problems before my fingers give up.
I was pleasantly surprise to be able to complete a few circuits of easier problems and am now thinking about how I can add a regular visit to my climbing schedule.
Go check out the centre. Even if you are a complete novice there is something for everyone and I hope the centre will encourage a lot of new blood into the sport.
