Beer Festival 2012

At the weekend I went along to the Secret Beer Garden Festival in Dundrum. It is the third year I have visited the annual beer festival organised by @RuthDeveney. Previous year's beer festivals were held in The Pod but with its closure this year's festival moved to the Dundrum.

One of the highlights was the range of beers from Flying Dog. I had some of the Snake Dog IPA and Doggy Style Ale. Great tasting beers. Love the artwork and their marketing.

The guys from Four Corners had the usual great range of beers from Brewdog, Nogne, and Mikkeller. In the picture above Ruth opens a bottle of Brewdog Tactical Nuclear Penguin. At 32% ABV it is one of the worlds strongest beers. If you are interesting on how you create a 32% beers check out this video from the Brewdog crew. Glad to have had an opportunity to taste the beer.
