Festivus 2012

The holidays are rapidly approaching and Festivus is just over a week away (December 23rd). With 5 minutes in my workshop I was able to put together the 'traditional' Festivus pole above. I didn't have any aluminium handy so instead used some metal electrical conduit which worked out just fine. My daughter will probably want to decorate the pole to brighten it up a bit :)

Also looking forward to the Festivus traditions of "Airing of Grievances" over dinner followed by "Feats of Strength". If you are not familiar with the holiday check out the following episode of Seinfeld.
