I lifted this year's garlic over the weekend as some of the stalks have started to wilt and a number had started to rot in the ground. They are a little on the small side but once dried will last a few months.
Even more vegetables are ready to eat. I harvested some of the oriental vegetables starting with the pak choi planted out a few weeks ago and some daikon. I am continuing to sow pak choi seeds in trays and a row of daikon every few weeks .
Out of curiosity I dug up some potatoes to see how they were developing. They are still a little on the small side but got a nice handful for a taster. Since I have a full raised bed of potatoes I'll continue to dig up a few each weekend.
