First Seeds of 2015

Start of February and I have started to think about this year's crops. I visited Powerscourt Garden Centre to buy seed potatoes and some seeds to start propagating indoors during February. Again I decided to go with Sharpes Express variety of potatoes and have started to chit them.

This year's seeds include:

• Tomato - Bajaja. I haven't grown tomatoes for a number of years and picked this new variety for this season.
• Leek - Musselburgh. Last year I had very poor seed germination so this year I plan to sow half of these seed indoors this month and the rest outdoor when the weather is warmer.
• Cucumber - Diva
• Lavender - Oregano.
