The Weather is Turning

The weather is definitely turning. It has been raining nearly every day for the last 2 weeks and the wind has battered my sunflowers so they are now only a shadow of the splender of two weeks ago. I intend to leave the flowers in the bed for a few more weeks to allow the seeds to form and fill out on the heads. I have an number of people looking for seeds heads to plant next spring. I also want to try and roast some seeds for eating. I have no idea how to go about it but I am sure someone on the internet has a blog post about roast seeds..
Even though my tomoato plants are not looking great at the moment I am still getting a generous bowl of tomatoes every few days. My second crop is about 3 weeks behind my main crop but still only has green fruit on the trusses. I am still hopeful I might get some fruit from this crop this year.
