First Of This Year's Leeks

I harvested the first of this year's leeks this evening. They are still a little on the small side but I found one big enough to make a few bowls of soup

I dibbed in a good quantity of leeks back in July and they are filling out nicely. With 40 to 50 plants there should be enough to keep us feed through the Autumn and Winter months.
