This is the first year I grew cauliflower. I got a free pack of seeds and planted them back in April. The plants had plenty of foliage growth over the summer and I only notices the cauliflower heads setting in the last month. The crop has been maintenance free.
We eat a lot of Asian food and have had a steady supply of daikon from the garden this year. Like most varieties of the radish family they a quick growing and low maintenance. Definitely a crop I will continue to grow next year.
Indoors I still have a steady supply of chillies but some of the plants are starting to look tired with yellowing foliage. Towards the end of November I'll start to cut back the plant stems for over wintering.
