Leeks and Spring Onions

The first pack of leek seeds I sowed last year did not germinate outdoors most like because I sowed them a little early before the soil had warmed up. The second sowing meant the leeks were dipped in late in the growing season and it was this spring before we start to eat leeks. I am hoping for better luck with this year's crop.
